Geology Kilt Pin (Islay Spalding x Rocks on Paper)

Inspired by geological cross-sections, this Pewter kilt pin / brooch celebrates the rocks of Scotland.

If we took a slice through the landscape from the Cairngorms to Dundee, we could see the granite of the Cairngorm Plateau and Lochnagar, the surrounding folded metamorphic rocks, the Highland Border Complex and the tilted river sediments that Dundee is built on.
