The beaded Delta necklaces are all one-offs with no bead combination being exactly the same.

The Dundee Collection was established in 2018 during the opening of the V&A Dundee with new pieces continuing to be added. The geometric shapes of Kengo Kuma’s architecture and the way it represented its inspiration: the Arbroath cliffs, mirrored Islay's own fascination with abstracting organic forms and finding geometric structures in landscapes. Islay had been playing about with stripy triangle motifs in her drawings and makings, joining them together to create patterns and compositions and the building of the V&A was the perfect excuse to launch them as jewellery in celebration of her hometown.
